Good to know about the golf

Golf is separate from the HOA fee, and you do not have to live in Heritage Hunt to play. The 18-hole championship course was designed by Arthur Hills, and the golf club sells memberships to residents and non-residents alike. So if you want to live somewhere else and still use the golf course, you can. Memberships come at an individual or family monthly price. For a tour or membership details, call the golf club at 703-743-1000.

The clubhouses and community life

Heritage Hunt has two clubhouses, and they are where the community lives. The main clubhouse has the Great Oak Ballroom, the Red Oak Bar and Grill, a library, an arts and craft room, card and game rooms, and the golf pro shop. It is a short walk to the driving range, the putting green, the fitness center and both pools. The restored mansion has meeting rooms, a game room with billiards, another library, and the HOA offices. The Knoll is a smaller event space with a patio and a lawn, and it holds up to 100 guests. Residents also enjoy concerts, wine dinners, murder mystery dinners, comedy nights and holiday parties.
